NOTW & Nails Inc!

This weeks Nails of the Week is a Oxblood colour, which I think is so pretty! I've chosen to apply Nails Inc. Victoria, which is a deep cherry red polish. From the photos below, you will be able to tell my latest problem with my nails. I've had a nightmare this week, with keeping them healthy. They've continuously began to snap or tear, which is so infuriating, as I like to keep them mid long length. I have decided to shorten them, & hope & pray they grow out healthier. Anyway! I decided to stick with one main polish this week, just so they have a slight rest, compared to what I normally would apply. I thought I would use my Nails Inc. polish, as its been sometime since I have. I chose to apply just one coat; one: to minimise any unnecessary pressure or strain on the nail, keeping them in better condition & two: I liked the outcome it gave, which is an Oxblood colour, with blended amount of pigmentation of the polish, throughout the nails.
As per, I'd like to apologise on the appearance of my just polished nails. For anyone who has read my blog since the start, you'll know I tend to just paint them as I wish & let the excess polish remove its self, which is usually throughout the rest of the night & the next day. This may sound incredibly lazy, its just how I have always done it!

So, for the polish in question! Its a deep cherry colour, which when applied in two coats, appears almost black, with a touch of red in certain lights. Its lovely to wear if you have long, or short nails, as it isn't as harsh as just black. I also think this is great for night or day. The polish itself is a medium thickness consistency. Beautiful to apply, & dries fairly quickly, which is great! This is the only polish by Nails Inc. I own, however, I would certainly not hesitate purchasing more! It has decent longevity, depending on whether you do heavy duties, which can chip your nails! Overall, I'm really happy with the outcome of this polish. Its always a pleasure to apply & wear!

I hope you enjoyed reading this! If anyone has any tips on how to keep your nails stronger & healthier, please let me know! I love hearing feedback!

Thank you!

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One B.B. Blemish Balm Cream in Light

I've been pondering over whether to invest in this little beauty since it released, however, the one downfall is the shading. This product only comes in Light & Medium. For me, this normally wouldn't be too bad as I'm fairly pale & I always get away with the lightest shade, although I've heard this Light shade isn't as light as fair skin tones would like. So, I managed to get my hands on a sample, so I could try this without buying the full size & having it sitting in my draw! The product..

As this came in a little packet, & tore the edge to squeeze the product out, This method isn't as easy as a pump, as you can see from the amount fo product on my hand! The colour is fairly light, which I was immediately happy with. The formulation looks quite thick, which would suggest full coverage. I personally prefer to apply my foundation with my fingers, as it warms up the product, enabling improved application & blending. As this first looks & feels thick, it sharply lightened up in texture, to a slightly thicker tinted moisturiser formulation. This felt lovely & comfortable to apply. It sits on the skin beautifully during application. As I was concerned with the shading, & didn't want to go for a look that didn't suit my skin tone, I used a Stipple Brush at the end to fully blend everything in, to create a flawless, natural finish.
BB Cream Application
BB Cream & Concealer

BB Cream, Concealer & powder
Unfortunately, I decided to apply this in the afternoon, just as I began to lose natural lighting, so I apologise for that! From just applying this product, it gave a smooth, medium coverage, moisturised finish. This felt wonderfully comfortable on this skin & lovely to work with. I didn't find the need to work too much with the product, which is ideal for me on early mornings! From the coverage of the product alone, it has instantly improved my skins appearance, evening everything out. This is great or if you need to pop to the shops & can't bare going naked faced! I, however, need slightly more coverage, just to conceal some imperfections. I like how subtle your skin looks with this product. You don't look caked in make up, which is something I really dislike. I like knowing I have the coverage I need, with as less amount of make up as possible!
I finished the face off with a face powder, to matte the face & prevent oiliness throughout the day.

Overall:
I'm really happy with this product. It has a lovely fresh scent, applies like a dream & sits on the skin beautifully. As I was sceptical about the shading, I'm happy with the outcome. I didn't have an orange toned outcome, or any discolouration. This seems fabulous for popping out, during the day or night. You are also easily able to layer this up to your desired application.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, as much as I did writing it! As I have wanted this for a while, its great to know the ins & outs before purchasing.

Mascaras!

Mascaras! They're a must for whatever look your going for, from subtle & defined lashes to darkly dramatic ones! Here is some of my mascaras that I currently use, & what looks they create for me!
L'Oreal Lash Architect Mascara 4D - I came across this a few months back, when it first came out on an introductory offer. I had just ran out off my current mascara, & I always tend to like to try another brand or something new. The packaging also drew me towards this, as its so technical & futuristic looking! I wouldn't say I would re-purchase this, as it wasn't really for me. As the packagings opening to the actual product isn't very tight, allowing it to scrape away excess from the brush, it filled the brush with tonnes of product when releasing from the tube, making a unsightly mess, unless you were careful & learnt the ropes on what the best way to use this is. As the outcome of this mascara is so dramatic, I tended to only use this for night out, or if I wanted a purposely dramatic lash. I personally prefer a much more defined, crisp fuller flash, than a clumpy one, as I find it looks more flattering. The formulation is smooth & quite wet. I did find I had to wait longer than I would normally with any other mascara, for it to dry or become tacky, as it would just easily transfer to my upper eyelid. Once dry & you've accumulated layers of the product to achieve your '4D' look, I found my lashes to be very crispy & unappealing. This may sound perfect for others taste, but not for me.
Rimmel Glam Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara - This is a repurchase, which I would definitely get again! Its lovely & versatile to create many different looks. As the brush is in a plastic flexible form with separate bristles, this allows to easily glide through each of your lashes, enabling you to create a defined & smooth look. You can easily layer this mascara up to create a more defined look, without looking clumpy. As you can see, the formulation is so glossy & wet. I've owned this for around 5 month now & its still in pristine condition, when I bought it. The opening doesn't clog up or get messy. I like to use the next mascara I'm going to be talking about, underneath as a base to separate the lashes, & use this on top to add definition & boldness. I use this technique daily, & depending on the day, my mood, my outfit, etc, I will layer this mascara up to my preference. This is easy to remove, without using waterproof eye remover. This is a staple in anyone's make up bag, as you can use this for any look!
Avon Super Curlacious Mascara - This is a lovely mascara if you're wanting subtle lashes, with slight definition. Perfect if you can't bare braving the outside world without a touch of make up! As its a curling mascara, this will prevent your lashes from becoming weak & breaking - which is what could happen after using a curler repeatedly. This mascara will enable you to create the look of using a curler, without using one. The curved, moulded brush allows it to grab each lash & coat them in the glossy mascara, without any clumps. The formulation is wonderful & smooth, making it a pleasure to work with, without it pulling on your lashes, when layering. As I said just before, I like to use this first, to cat my lashes evenly, then I use the Rimmel Glam Eyes Lash Flirt mascara to add volume & thickness, to how I desire. I also like to use this mascara to create a simple look, if I don;t want anything to heavy on the eyes.

Overall, I do like all of these mascaras in different ways, which is great to own different ones, so you're not stuck on how to create a subtle look with a dramatic mascara, vice versa!

If you have any questions, queries, etc, please do not hesitate to ask!

Thank you!

No7 Brushes

I've used No7 brushes for as long as I can remember, so I thought I would blog about how wonderful they are!
Firstly, I purchased the Eye Colour Brush, quite a few years ago. I think this was a spontaneous purchase, as I don't think I was quite into make up & beauty as I am now, however, I must have known I'd be obsessed, as I picked up an amazing brush by an amazing company! This comes with a flat brush, great for picking up shadows & evenly distributing when applying. I have abused this brush when I didn't quite know what I do now about make up, & applied this with many different colour & textures of products. I'm glad I have discovered the art of using numerous brushes for different applications! After all the years, this brush is still unbelievably good as new! With some love & attention along the way, this has been a great tool in my make up collection, that has saved me many a times. The bristles are still soft to the touch, without any splaying. What is also lovely, is the size of the brush itself, its not too big & not too small, just right to evenly apply product to your eyelid, without any unnecessary sweeping back & forth. The bristles pick up the right amount of product, without swallowing it up & wasting your shadows. Overall, this is an amazing brush, & I'm so happy I came across this & decided to buy it that day! Perfect brush to accompany your others!
Secondly, I have the Smokey Eyeliner Brush. I believe I purchased this again, a few years ago, when I came across their £5 off vouchers. At the time, I adored the smokey look, which I seemed to sport daily! This is such a great little tool to own! I don;t tend to use it for smokey looks any more, simply because I rarely wear them, however, I use this to highlight the inner corners of my eyes, to brighten them, I also use this as a brow highlight. The brush is so small, it can apply product literally to wherever you want. The brush itself, is short & stubby, enabling it to pack in as much product as possible. This is great, s you can work fast to create your look, without having to furiously stab your brush into powders to remotely grab any product! I like to use this my touching the brush into a brown/neutral shadow, & applying under my bottom lashes, to create subtle definition, as I personally don't think applying product to my waterline is very flattering. This brush is also great to subtle blend any harsh lines, or if you want to create a softer look.
Finally, I have the Eyeshadow Blend & Contour Brush. This is an excellent dupe to the MAC 217, which is great for  inexpensive alternative, which will effectively do the same job, if not better! This is a beautifully fluffy blending brush, packed full of soft bristles. This is my most used brush. I use this on a daily basis to contour my eye area & create a more defined crease/socket line, using a warm brown toned shadow. As the bristles are so incredibly soft, it eliminates any dragging of the skin around the delicate eye area. This also picks up the product so well, meaning you don't have to sweep your brush throughout your whole shadow pan to grab the shadow, & risking damaging your brush & wasting your product. I literally cannot rave about this enough, especially if you use their £5 off voucher!

Overall, go out & buy these! I could sit here & waffle on about these for days! They're excellent value for what you are receiving. High quality brushes, that will last you for years!

If you have any questions, queries, etc, please do not hesitate to ask!

Thank you!

NOTW!

Nails of the week! I love Sundays, as its my day to paint my nails, ready for the week ahead! I was really excited for tonight, 'cause amongst all the other new polishes I have yet to play with, I received my e.l.f Matte Top Coat polish. I'm super impressed! It instantly creates a matte finish. Possible review? Let me know! So for the look..
I first started off my applying my No7 Base Coat polish. I then applied a very muted matte (as in no shimmers or glitter) pink colour by No7 (I received in my No7 Nail Art Set, which I have previously blogged about), in one layer as its that good! I then used No7's Silver art pen that came with said set, & used the striper long brush on my ring fingers, to add a pop of something, as I would be using a matte polish, I didn't want the look to be too flat. As it was my first time using these nail art pens, I decided to go all out & use the fine nib & apply it to the tip of my thumb nail. Great experimentation! I love how easy these nail art pens are to use! I finally finished the look off with e.l.f's Matte Finisher Nail Polish. I applied this medium to thickly, as I was unsure whether a thin amount would do the job. I used the correct amount, as a after a minute or two, you could see the matte instantly appear! I'm already in love with this! Unfortunately, I managed to get glitter transferred from my thumb to the rest of my nails, but I'm really not fussed. I can;t imagine anyone will be inspecting them for faults! I did find that after applying the top coat, it does mute the shade of colour you used, as mine looks like a pink with warm brown tones, but I'm really happy with the outcome!

So, thats it. My nails for this week! I hope you enjoyed reading this! I have yet to try my black nail art pen, so if you have any suggestions or recommendations for what look I should create, comment below!

Thank you!

e.l.f Matte Lip Color

I've recently heard Voussontbeauetbelle on YouTube raving & wearing this. Believe the hype! This is such a lovely product to own, from the colour to the texture!
This comes in the form of a crayon/pen, that swivels up as you rotate the stick, to release more product. (I hope that made sense!). The packaging is a sleek, black & matte, with the colour swatch at the end, which is ideal for when you're in a mad rush (like me!), & saves you rummaging around.
I personally applied this on bare lips, firstly outlining my lips, to define my lips, & then filling them in. Once you've colour blocked your lips, you can then see what needs correcting, etc. This is lovely & smooth to apply, even though you might not think so, as its matte.
Swatch & Blended
What I really look about this product, which may be odd, but is the taste! Its gorgeously sweet - you may find yourself licking this product of your lips, which may be unhealthy! The formulation of this is just beautiful. You're able to create definition or a stain, its so versatile. This means you can just throw this is your bag, & have lip liner & lipstick in one!
As this is a matte product, I've found it to be incredibly long lasting, as compared to a glossy lip product, it wont slip & slide away. The only way you will find this coming off your lips, is you licking it! (Sounds so odd saying that!)
That's all I really have to say for this wonderful lip colour! I chose Tea Rose, which is a gorgeous neutral 'my lips but better', with a touch of pink/purple. This is perfect for everyday, or teamed up with some gloss for that added something! You can grab your very own here.

If you have any questions, queries, etc, please do not hesitate to ask!

Perfumes!

I thought I would make a really snappy blog (I could quite easily go on & on about these, but I imagine that would be quite bring for you!) about my current collection of perfumes. I'm not a huge lover, although I do love the ones I own!
L-R: Paul Smith Floral, Valentino Rock 'n Rose, Harajuku Lovers Love & Vera Wang Rock Princess

I can't choose a favourite out of these, as they are all perfect for their own occasion. I have recently acquired the Paul Smith fragrance, which has a lovely fruity & floral scent, which I think will be well suited for summer. Can't wait to start spritzing this! The Valentino one I have owned for a little while, although I think this is gorgeous for night time & nights out, with its dusky scent. The Harajuku is also my latest perfume. I have owned this one before & loved it enough to re-purchase! Its gorgeously sweet, perfect enough for daytime. Lastly, I have Vera Wang, which is the first perfume I have owned. I'm absolutely in love with this one. Its dark enough to wear on a night, but light enough to wear throughout the day, without being too overwhelming.

Paul Smith - Top notes: Ginger, sweet orange, pink grapefruit & water lily.
Heart notes: Orchid, osmanthus & white magnolia.
Base notes: Exotic woods, tonka bean, amber & musk.

Valentino - Top notes: Bergamot, blackcurrant, crisp green leaves & muguet.
Heart notes: Rose, gardenia & Orange Blossom.
Base notes: Sandalwood, heliotrope, orris, vanilla & musky notes.

Harajuku Lovers - Top notes: Pink pamelo, sparkling bergamot & bamboo leaf mist.
Heart notes: Rose, watery peony & egyptian jasmine.
Base notes: Creamy vanilla, orchid sensual musk & blondewood.

Vera Wang - Top notes: White peach, bittersweet red raspberry & bergamot.
Heart notes: Heliotrope, rose, night-blooming jasmine, delicate lily & spicy accents.
Base notes: Cashmere woods, musk, iris & coconut.

Latest E.L.F purchases!

So, recently E.L.F had a free shipping code on orders over £10, so I did just that! I only picked up a few items as I really couldn't  find anything I actually wanted.
What I got:

The only items I particularly wanted, was the brush, lip colour & the matte top coat. I'm happy with everything I have received, although, once I opened the packaging on the brush, it broke! I wasn't happy, although for £1.50, what do you expect?! I immediately contacted the company, & they happily sent me another. So, I'm looking forward to receiving & trying that! I've heard about Voussontbeauetbelle on YouTube wearing these Matte Lip Colours, so I thought I would give them ago. For now, I can tell you I love them! I will most likely be doing separate reviews on what I think is worthy. I'm really looking forward to trying the Matte Top Coat! Has anyone else tried it? What's your thoughts?

So, I hopoe you enjoyed this little post! If you have any questions, queries, etc, please do not hesitate to ask!

VO5 Shampoos

So, I've heard a little about these shampoos on YouTube & blogs, so I thought I'd give them a try. Personally, as long as the shampoo will clean my hair, & make it appear & feel in better condition, that's all I need!
I first purchased the Revive Me Daily 2 In 1. I thought it would be great, as its both a Shampoo & Conditioner, meaning its less faffing about, when I want a quick bath. This has a lovely Apple/Strawberry scent, which is gorgeous! Its formulation & texture is glossy & thick. This easily foams into the hair, when massaged. I prefer to let my hair naturally dry, just to prevent unnecessary heat damage. Unfortunately, when I wake up the next morning to completely dry hair, it has a horrible, thick, product build up. I hair thin hair, which has thickened over the years due to it being more healthy - less heat! This product made my hair unmanageably thick. It felt as though there was still product left over in my hair. I have re-used this to make sure I have completely rinsed away all product, but I end up with the same result. I will probably keep this just for emergencies if I run out of another shampoo. Its a shame, as I was really looking forward to using this. Let me know if any of you have the same issue?
Willingly to try this range again, I thought I'd purchase the Give Me Moisture, which I was pleasantly surprised with. This has a lighter consistency than the other one, with pretty much the same scent, which I was really happy with. I used the same application as before, & let my hair air dry naturally. I woke up happy with the results! This really does give your hair moisture! I don't have particularly dry hair, but I sometimes find my hair needs some extra TLC at times, so this is a saviour!

I hope you liked this short & sweet post! If you have any questions, queries, comments, recommendations, anything! Please let me know!

Thank you!

Lipsticks!

So, I'm not the biggest lipstick fan, but I have been trying to wean myself into them, as they can instantly change any make up look, with a slick of lippy. Here is two shades I own, with the third being in my previous 'Ombre Lips' post.

Firstly I have Avon Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick in Sparkling Nude. Now, something I hate is swatches that aren't genuine to the actual shade in brochures or online, so with Avon & ordering, you can't really browse through their shades. However, I do believe you can return products you're not happy with. I really wanted a neutral nude shade, so, I chose this Sparkling Nude. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of how glittery this lipstick was. Teamed up with some gloss, will definitely soften this, though. The formulation is very smooth, & long lasting. The sensation of applying this, you can tell it will hold for a long time, throughout be day, which is great!

Lastly, I have Boots 17 Mirror Shine On Lipstick in Beehive. This is a gorgeous, silky texture & formulation, which is defiantly my 'go to' lipstick. Its in between a gloss & lipstick, which is great if you're on the move a lot, & don't really have the time or patience to apply to different products to achieve one look. Now, don't be off putted by the shade of  the lipstick in its lipstick form. It looks incredibly pinky & not nude or 'my lips but better', at all. Which is exactly my though upon purchasing it! However, I've heard lots of reviews about this & I do not regret purchasing this, Its such a pretty colour & formula. Perfect for any age & skin tone, as its so glossy pigmented.

So, those are the lipsticks I so far own. Nothing remotely special! I would however LOVE to invest in MAC's Lipstick in He, or any nude shade. If anyone had any recommendations on dupes, etc, please comment below. I love hearing feedback!

NOTW!

This is my Nails Of The Week. I'm lucky enough to just get away with wearing my polish for a week, without too much chipping, peeling, etc, depending on how many dishes I can haggle my way out of! So, I have opted to use my new polishes from Christmas, which I have eventually had the opportunity to try!
No flash

Flash

Flash & close up
So, as you can see, I chose a beautiful metallic gold, with subtly shimmery purple crackle on top. I've loved the crackle polishes since they were released, & I still am, whether people think they were so last season or not! I was super happy to received the purple version, as its my favourite colour! The gold, I received in my No7 Nail Art set (which I have previously blogged about!).

So, I firstly I started by shaping my nail with a nail file until I was happy. I then applied a No7 Base Coat. Continuing one, I applied a even coat of the No7 gold polish. What I found great, was I only needed to apply one coat to get amazing coverage. Impressive, No7! For the crackle, you can apply a thin or thick coat, depending on the outcome you wish to create. A thin coat will make the crackle very thin, allowing you to see more of the base colour. Applying a thicker coat will obviously thicken the crackle, allowing it to be more bolder. I decided to apply just in between a thin & thick, & alternate. Finally, I coated my nail with No7 Top Coat, to seal in all the layers & leave my nails with a beautiful shine!

What I found with the crackle polish, is its stunningly gorgeous in the bottle, with shimmers running through the whole polish. However, once applied to the nail, it will appear quite matte & dull. But, not to worry! Once you apply your Top Coat - which is recommended to prevent chipping, enabling your nails to last longer! You will see the colour instantly come back to life as it looks in the bottle! I've never ever been disappointed with Barry M's Nail Paints, & I can't see myself ever being so. They come in such a wide variety if shades, perfect for anyone! I'm also very impressed with No7's polishes. They are incredibly durable & long lasting, more so if you apply the recommended two coats & top coat, however, they do have an amazing coverage for one coat!

The products I used:
No7 Gold Polish (as it was from a Christmas set, I'm not sure on the shade)

I hope you enjoed reading this post, as much as I did writing it! I love anything to do with nails!

If you have any questions, queries, etc, please do not hesitate to ask!

Thank you!

Simple products!

So, this is a quick & Simple (see what I did there?) blog post on Simple's products.

I first decided to purchase their Kind To Skin Nourishing Body Wash, as I was feeling like my skin was too irritated, & wanted something not full of perfume & ingredients I don't understand, to cleanse my skin.
What's lovely about this, is their 'special blend of Simple cleansing goodness containing Pro-vitamin E, Glycerine & Chamomile, helps to gently cleanse, moisturise & soothe you skin', genuinely does do that! This product also contains 'No perfume, colour or unnecessary ingredients, so it won;t upset your skin. Dermatologically Tested & Approved'. This is available in 250ml.
For me, this is so soothing & cleansing, & has not - I repeat, NOT upset my skin. Its made it lovely, soft & moisturised, which is just what I needed! I totally recommend this if you feel your skin needs a break from too many products abusing your skin, or if you have quite sensitive skin. I have neither, although its been wonderful to just refresh your skin, in the kindest way possible!

Secondly, & thirdly, I received the Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser & Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes as a gift.

The Hydrating Light Moisturiser: I've lately been suffering from slightly dry skin as soon as I wake up in the morning, however, throughout the day, it becomes more oily. So, I was really happy to be given the opportunity to try out this product, as its exactly what I've been needing in my life! Its not too heavy, just a light sweep of moisture, to boost my skin! Their 'Hydrating Light Moisturiser is a perfect blend of ingredients to help keep your skin replenished & hydrated. Perfect for even sensitive skin'. This alone is selling this little beauty. No surprise, this contains all the lovely simple goodness you need, with their 'Special blend of Simple moisturising goodness containing Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, Glycerine & Borage Seed Oil, helps moisturise & soften the skin'. This is lovely, with a wonderful light, non greasy formulation & application. I personally apply this in the morning, before applying my foundation, to instantly add moisture to my skin.

The Cleansing Wipes: These are so lovely & fresh, I use daily to remove make up or to simply freshen up my face. They are wonderfully refreshing. This product is a 'perfect blend of ingredients to help to refresh & tone your skin Our wipes remove waterproof mascara. Perfect for even sensitive skin'. 'Our special blend of Simple cleansing goodness containing Pro-Vitamin B5, helps to gently cleanse your skin without leaving it dry'. This product also contains 'No alcohol, oil, perfume, colour, or unnecessary ingredients, so it won't upset your skin, whilst also being non drying & greasy. Dermatologically Tested & Approved'. These are a lovely product to work with, as the wipe its self is not too thin & not too thick, so instantly does the job, without hassle. The formulation of the product is very clean & gentle, allowing you (well me), to remove eye make up easily, without irritating or dragging the eye. Whilst researching these products, I was happy to know that these wipes even remove waterproof mascara, which is a massive bonus in my books! What more could you ask for?!

All of the information included in this post, I gained from their website: www.simple.co.uk, which is very efficient in finding what you need to know - an enjoyable experience browsing through their many, many products! So, if you have any personal queries, or wanting to find out more info, you can find that out there.

Ombre Lips!

So, I've seen this around quite a bit lately in glossy magazines, so I thought I'd create my own version!
As you can see, I have a full block colour on my upper lip, with a blended colour on the bottom. I think this is a very pretty effect, or it could be quite dramatic, depending on what colour you choose.

I simply applied my chosen lipstick to my upper lip, I then lightly pressed my lips together & then removing excess lipstick from the centre of my bottom lip. Finally, I finished off with a very pale pink in the centre.

This gives a great effect for fuller lips. I personally would next time apply lip liner, to give a more dramatic, noticeable effect, although if you're not that daring, this is subtle, yet unique! I think this effect would look great with a darker, plum colour, blending into nothing!

I hope you enjoyed this little post, probably my shortest yet!

Thank you!

e.l.f False Eyelashes!

Now, I'm not personally an eyelash girl, just give me lashings of mascara & I'm content, however, on my first ever order to e.l.f a while back, I ordered some falsies, purely to try them out & for £1.50, who can complain?! They've been sitting in my make up collection gathering dust, as I've never bothered to actually try them out. These are the first ever pair of eyelashes I have applied, so if they do not look correct - I'll get the hang of it!

So, I simply applied these for the purpose of this blog post. I used a clear tube of glue that came with the lashes, although I believe e.l.f's new lashes now come with a white squeezy tube. I ran the product down the spine of the lash, making sure I've coated it thoroughly & waiting for about a minute whilst blowing, to make the product tacky, meaning easier & more successful application. I used my Tweezerman tweezers to hold the lashes in the middle, placing them on my own eyelash line. Once the middle of the falsie is secure, you can go ahead & put the two ends in place. There you have it.

I have seen so many YouTube tutorials that include lashes, so I wasn't particularly lost of the application process. The length of the falsies are pretty suitable for me, although I probably would trim away about two eyelashes worth, to make them fit more comfortably. As I haven't worn false eyelashes before, I found them strange to wear at first, although I got used to them quite quickly. I found these to be really comfortable & light to wear, especially since I haven't before.

The lashes I applied are the Natural Lash Kit, however, I wouldn't say they were natural! If I were to wear these through the day time, I would probably trim the length of the lashes, to emphasise volume & thickness, rather than length. They have a lovely thin band, which makes them easier to apply. I wouldn't say the glue is amazing, but its perfect for me, because as I don't wear false lashes, I have no real need to purchase DUO glue or any other self adhesive. I have yet to try them throughout the day, so if I do, I will update the post to state their longevity & durability. Overall, I think these are amazing for £1.50. They perfect for people (like me), just starting to out with experimenting with falsies, so if you ruin them, its not he end of the world! These are also available in brown, although I chose black.

I will most definitely be adding some more of these lashes to my order, when I next place mine. I'm wanting some Natural, Dramatic & Individual Lashes. I can imagine this might become quite addictive!

If you have any questions, queries, etc, please do not hesitate to ask!

Thank you!
